Personal work.
I found a photo of this amazing little girl in a mint dress on Pinterest. I decided to crank up some music and paint her in watercolor with a little ink.

Experimenting with some vintage photography and illustration. I'm kinda loving the look and feel of it!
What happen's when a vegan, an animal lover and a fashionista get together for a cause? Stay tuned and find out. Here is a sketch and some quick color for a new project I'm working on with my friend Sara Alley.
I love fashion for little girls. Oversized glasses, dropped crotch sweat pants and yellow rain boots…Too cute! These are line drawings I took into photoshop and colored.
I do so much work on the computer that I forget how fun it is to paint. I've been practicing with my watercolors. Really loving the freedom and hoping I can start integrating some of this into my work.
Not due out until Jan. of next year, but I just found it listed on Amazon. The last in the four book tween series by Natalie Grant. This time the girls get into some fun in the big apple. This was my favorite cover to illustrate for the set.
and here is a close up look:
Just found a cute sketch I did a while back. I love these girls!
I spied with my little eyes the cover of the lastest Sparkle Spa book on Amazon. Someone is about to get a new "do" in this one! Coming to bookstores in October.
I've been tidying up my studio today and going through lots of sketches. Deciding what to save, what to throw away. I came across these character sketches and thought I'd share them. I've been working on a really cute book series with Zonderkids called "Glimmer Girls". It's based on the real life family of Christian recording artist Natalie Grant. Her adorable girls were the inspiration for these character sketches. When I'm working on characters for a book series there are usually lots of character sketches with slightly different looks. I kinda love these!
Here are some cute character sketches I drew for an upcoming project.
